Continuously from 1924 to the present, a Rotary Club, fostering Rotary, the 4-Way Test, and service to the community, the nation, and the world, has served in Pleasantville. The first club served without interruption from March 12, 1924 when it received its charter from Rotary International until its dissolution in 1977 when it, with Rotary International’s approval, created the second club, now known as the “Rotary Club of Pleasantville, New York, U.S.A., Inc.”
