About Rotary Club of Pleasantville Continuously from 1924 to the present, a Rotary Club, fostering Rotary, the 4-Way Test, and service to the community, the nation, and the world, has served in Pleasantville. The first club served without interruption from March 12, 1924 when it received its charter from Rotary International until its dissolution in 1977 when it, with Rotary International’s approval, created the second club, now known as the “Rotary Club of Pleasantville, New York, U.S.A., Inc.” The Rotary Club of Pleasantville , New York, U.S.A., Inc., whose motto is "Service Above Self" is part of the world-wide Rotary International organization, whose nearly 100 year history is recounted on this site. The Rotary Club of Pleasantville is located within District 7230, which covers New York City, Bronx, Staten Island, Westchester and Bermuda.
